Our Mission
Cape Dance Hub is a centralized communication space designed to connect dancers with Cape Town’s local studios, social events, and competitions. Our goal is to improve ease of access and connection for both everyday and competitive dancers — whether it is to find like-minded groups, practice spaces, dance shoes, costumes, or attire. We also aim to create an organized space for competition schedules and results, while supporting the growth of our respected sport.
Our community also includes a partner search space, helping you find a match suited to your dance level and goals. We want people of all ages — from school children to our beloved retired veterans — to experience the transformative power of movement, rhythm, relational joy, and learning.

The roots of our movement run deep. We honor the dancers who laid the foundation of our local dance culture - like CoolSounds who have been playing live music at dances for over 30 years, PWP who have hosted numerous social dances since 1973, and many more! We want to ensure the foundational rhythms are never lost to time.
